Jefferson at 14W

U STREET CORRIDOR, Washington, DC

 

Jefferson at 14W is a mixed-use project with 231 luxury apartments, 12,200 square feet of ground floor retail, 200 underground parking spaces and a 44,000 square-foot state-of-the-art athletic facility including a pool, basketball court, wellness center, and child care facility to be owned by the YMCA.

 

FLGA along with Perseus Realty (Now Perseus TDC) was selected to redevelop the historic Anthony Bowen YMCA building. It involved the assembly of five historic townhouses along 14th Street, integrating them into a new modern building that provided a substantial street presence for the Y, and garnering local approvals for the building in the "low density" Cardoza-Shaw neighborhood. The development team partnered with Jefferson Apartments for the redevelopment.

 

In the midst of the vibrant U Street Corridor, residents of the Jefferson at 14W enjoy the advantage of the abundant retail and entertainment options throughout the community and access to Metro-rail.
