Howard University East Towers
Shaw, Washington, DC

Howard East Towers is FLGA's newest project in partnership with Lowe Enterprise, USAA Real Estate and Howard University. The project will consist of approximately 500 residential units ranging from studios to two-bedroom plus den units, approximately 30,000 square feet of retail space, and over 240 below grade parking stalls . The Project will include a 25’-wide plaza fronting the future W Street extension, which will serve as the primary segment of a vibrant amenity corridor connecting Howard University’s campus to the surrounding Shaw neighborhood. The Project will be the centerpiece of the 10-acre Duke District, which Howard University conceived and entitled in coordination with the Washington, DC Office of Planning over the last fifteen years. The Duke District is envisioned not only to become the amenity anchored hub of north Shaw, but to be the hub of Howard’s off-campus community.
